Debra Schubert, owner of Pure Movement Studio in Santa Rosa, California is a Physical Therapist Assistant, and a Pilates, Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® Instructor. Since 1987, Debra has developed a multi faceted approach to movement and health. She integrates a variety of sources in her teaching which include the somatic arts, energetic awareness, anatomical and physiological sciences, dance and manual therapy. Debra inspires and guides students to develop their own personal teaching skills. Debra is the co-founder of ITT Pilates, a Pilates Certification program incorporating a network of studios in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and is currently pursuing certification in Integrative Manual Therapy™.
