Elizabeth Larkam is a Pilates Method Alliance Gold-Certified
instructor with 20 years experience in clinical, dance, fitness and academic
environments. Educated in the original Pilates techniques by the Pilates elders
and a Guild-Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis
instructor, OM Yoga instructor and student of the Franklin Method (completed
Level I, continuing in Level II), Elizabeth is internationally recognized as an
innovator in Mind Body movement techniques.
She developed the Kinesis Flow program for the most recent innovation in
strength training from the Italian company, TechnoGym.
Director of Pilates & Beyond at Western Athletic Clubs,
Elizabeth worked as a Pilates Dance medicine Specialist at the Center for
Sports Medicine, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, in San Francisco. While director of the Saint Francis program
she developed Pilates protocols for orthopedic and spine diagnoses. Elizabeth is Mind/Body spokesperson for the
American Council on Exercise and a member of the Advisory Board of
