Resume:  Italian born Lucrezia Caricola moved to New York in 1988 to study at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Italian born Lucrezia Caricola moved to New York in 1988 to study at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, where she graduated in 1991. In New York she met Julio Horvath for the first time in 1989, and became familiar with the Gyrokinesis method, which at that time was referred to as "Yoga for Dancers".  While active as a Dancer and a Teacher at the Martha Graham School, Laban Centre in London, Ials in Rome, and Teatro S.Carlo in Naples, she took the path which led her to be a Master Trainer in GYROTONIC, GYROKINESIS and GYROTONIC SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT.  Now based in Rome, Italy, since 2003 she directs her own studio - GYROTONIC® ROMA - and travels extensively worldwide to conduct Teacher Training Courses.
