Born in Romania, Paul was a soccer player and a gymnast and won many gymnastic championships. After he finished competing, he spent 10 years working with the Romanian Olympic Gymnastics Team. Paul eventually moved to Germany in 1990 and attended Physiotherapy School. In 1995, while working at the Rheintalklinik in Bad Krozingen, Germany, he introduced GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methodologies while on staff there. Because of the great success he had with patients applying these methodologies for rehabilitation purposes, this facility eventually became one of the major teacher training centers in Europe. Today, Paul travels internationally conducting Gyrotonic Therapeutic Application Workshops.
