TEMPORARY SELLERS PERMIT:
|
Body Mind Spirit
allows retail and wholesale selling from the exhibit floor
with proper California tax documentation.
An exhibitor planning to sell at the Show must have a valid
California Seller's Permit, or must submit an Application
for a Temporary Seller's Permit, in
time for the temporary permit to be
issued in advance of the Exhibition.
This is the Exhibitor's responsibility.

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION:
|
Exhibitors may register in advance, using the form included
in the Services Kit. Badges will be issued only to booth
personnel. Each exhibiting company is entitled to three (3)
badges per 10' x 10' booth space. On-site badge requests
will be charged $35 per badge. All badges may be picked up
at the Exhibitor Registration Desk.
|

HOUSING:
|
Exhibitors should reserve hotel rooms in Santa Clara by
contacting the Hotel directly. The
Official Hotel is the
Hyatt Santa Clara.
Please

information about hotel and rates and make your
reservations early since we've reserved a limited amount of
specially priced rooms for this first-time event.
The conference rate is $129.00
for single or double occupancy. This rate is valid for
reservations booked in advance of March 1, 2009 (book early
since space block sells out quickly).

PARKING:
|
The Parking Ramp is located immediately behind the Santa
Clara Convention Center and provides access to the
Convention Center from the second floor. There are 2000
parking spaces in the Ramp and parking is free.
|
|
REGISTRATION BROCHURES:
|
A supply of registration brochures is included with the
Exhibitor Services Kit for you to invite your customers to
attend the Conference and Exhibition.
|
|
STANDARD BOOTHS:
|
Each standard in-line booth will
include an 8' high back drape, 3' high drape side returns
and a 7" x 40" company sign. Also included will be the
standard booth package consisting of an 6-foot draped table,
two side chairs and a wastebasket. Expo drape colors will be
White, Teal and Rose with Burgundy aisle carpet. All booths
should have floor covering. Carpet may be rented from the
General Contractor through forms included in the Services
Kit.

MATERIAL HANDLING:
|
Read
the section on Material Handling carefully. Prices are based
on a 100 pound minimum so, it is more efficient to
consolidate all of your freight into one shipment, rather
than several smaller shipments that could each be charged at
the minimum. Exhibits West will accept crated, boxed or
skidded materials at their warehouse up to 30 days in
advance of set-up. Warehouse
shipments should arrive no later than Tuesday, April 10,
2009. Direct shipments to the Convention Center will be
accepted ONLY on Thursday, April 16, 2009. Direct
Shipments are at your own risk. Be sure to label your
shipment for the
Body Mind Spirit
Conference
and indicate your booth number.

SECURITY/INSURANCE:
|
The Convention Center maintains 24-hour security for
monitoring the building perimeters, parking areas and
interior public space. However, neither Show Management, nor
its agents, or the Convention Center assumes responsibility
for any loss, damage or injury to any property of the
exhibitors. Exhibitors must carry
liability and property insurance on their own exhibit and
materials.

CHILD POLICY:
|
For safety and liability reasons, children under 16 years of
age will not be permitted entry to the exhibit hall or
conference rooms.
|
