ITT
Pilates Essential Exercises were developed by ITT Pilates Directors
Madeline Black, Joerg Chabowski, Debra Schubert and Jean
Sullivan. The three day intensive will be an in-depth learning
experience including anatomy, biomechanics, hands-on skills,
specific cueing; injury prevention and habilitation. ITT Pilates
Essential Exercises are the building blocks for accessing healthy
movement patterns that create change in posture, function and pain.
It is a powerful teaching tool for beginners to understand how to
move from the central place where we begin to move from. As a
teacher, the Essential Exercises makes teaching the inner workings
of the body accessible and easy
for your clients to feel. Whether you teach Pilates, Gyrotonic or
Yoga, you will discover a direct path in teaching the central
essence of the body in movement. Essential Exercises is a required
course for entry to any of the ITT Pilates certification
tracks.
This
course is required to apply for the ITT Pilates Apparatus Trainer
Certification.
